1. com_text software is a serialkeys emulator for windows operating system, which can transform hexadecimal data (received through the serial port or usb virtual com) into character in format of ascii/unicode simplified chinese/japanese, etc., and display the character on the active editor window of notepad (.txt）or microsoft word (.doc).

2. the cable connected to an instrument (e.g. a barcode scanner in this document) must be a rs232 cable or a usb cable.  if a usb cable is applied, the usb device type of the barcode scanner must to be set as "usb virtual com".
